Drug Crime [Not Prescriptions] Is [Major] Source of Abused Pain Meds

Drug Crime [Not Prescriptions] Is [Major] Source of Abused Pain Meds (full text) D.E. Joranson and A.M. Gilson, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, 30(4): 299-301, 2005. Posted: 2006-02-21.

Comment (DeLuca): SIX MILLION DOSES A YEAR are diverted at a level having NOTHING to do with pain management and EVERYTHING to do with the UTTER FAILURE of DEA to fulfill their MISSION to secure supplies of medically needed opioid medications.

DEA has mounted an offensive against physicians as the “primary” source of ‘abused’ drugs while at the same time concealing data exposing massive diversion higher up the supply chain THEY control.

WHERE IS OUR OUTRAGE? Please help! Contribute to the Pain Relief Network TODAY.
