Hurwitz Jury Deliberations Continue…
Hurwitz Jury Deliberations Continue - Mary Baluss; The Project for Pain and Chemical Dependency listServ; National Foundation for the Treatment of Pain (NFTP); 2007-04-25; 9:20 AM Eastern.
I didn’t go today–serious conflicts with another deadline. What one does while waiting for a jury is to sit in or near the courtroom and chat, read, work or snooze as one’s muse dictates. Talked with Billy by phone at some length. No questions from the jury.
Yesterday the judge suggested that if there is no verdict by the end of the week she will consider taking a partial verdict. How this works exactly, I don’t know at least in terms of what she would say to the jury and how much notice she would give. In real terms however, it would mean that they would decide as much as they could and designate themselves hung on the rest.
Billy says he’s holding up well during the wait and he does sound well.
