Governor Crist and the Board of Clemency has granted Richard Paey a waiver of the rules so that his petition for clemency can be considered immediately.

His hearing before Governor Crist and three members of the clemency board will take place on Thursday, September 20th.

Richard Paey, a chronic pain patient, is serving a mandatory 25 year sentence for possessing 100 percocets, necessary to relieve his chronic pain. Richard’s petition for clemency is available on-line , as is his request for the waiver.
